JBA Japan Tour Round 7 Champions!

Team Crayon continued their 2021 JBA Japan Tour play with an impressive team performance over a span of four total games - two pool play matches, semifinals, and final. Crayon's Round 1 roster featured veterans Ryan Tana, Spencer Jennings, and Mikiya Fukuda, with Yuki Kurosawa, who made his official return to 3x3 after being out for 9 months with an Achilles rupture. 

 

Team Crayon's first game was against Hachinohe DIME, and beat them 21-18. Their second game was against new team Koto Pheonix,  and came out victorious 21-13. In the semi-final game, Team Crayon faced Tokyo DIME, and defeated them handily 21-14. Crayon faced Sendai Air Jokers in the championship game - filled with strong team play, outside shot making and tough team defense, making Tokyo Crayon champions of Round 7 for Japan Tour, winning 21-14.

Spencer Jennings led the team in scoring across four games, with 31 total points, and Ryan Tana contributing 30 total points. 

The team will look to continue getting better and stronger, preparing for Round 8 on October 23th, in Kanagawa, Japan.
